HUMAN COMPONENT: VANCE
FUNCTION: BRIGADIER GENERAL
FIRST APPEARANCE: TRANSFORMERS ALTERNATIVE #4 (VANCE--TRANSFORMERS ALTERNATIVE, but I haven't written the issue/episode.)
"Exploiting the rules is a little bit more than the law will allow."
Bio (in tech spec form): Often serves as a field commander for the Autobots. Known for his use of unconventional strategies. His human partner Vance is a stunt car driver and former bootleg whiskey runner. Uses his family's moonshine recipe to make Autobahn incredibly fuel efficient. With Vance driving, Autobahn is capable of performing incredible stunts. Both like outwitting law enforcement, but will aid them at a moment's notice. In race car mode, top speed is 250 mph; can maintain 8 seconds of hangtime over a riverbed. Range: 125 miles. In robot mode, carries an energon crossbow. Can load each arrow with 500 lbs of TNT. Will put himself at risk to protect friends.
Strength: 8.5 Intelligence: 7.5 Speed: 8 Endurance: 9.5 Rank: 9.5 Courage: 9 Firepower: 5 Skill: 10
Personal Notes: 1. Yes, Autobahn is an attempt of a Dukes of Hazzard fan to turn the General Lee (the Dukes' race car, not the U.S. Civil War general) into a sentient lifeform. General Lee plays a pivotal role in this story. There is no real way to write him out of it. ("Yeee-haa!") 2. The "toy" version will have a variety of racing numbers and roof decals to give the buyer his choice. It would also come with a facsimile of Optimus Prime's original laser rifle. 3. Autobahn's creator is a Black individual who does not relate the Confederate flag to racism or slavery (, but only to the Dukes of Hazzard and a dead country, like Czechoslovakia - 1990s, Prussia, Babylon, or the Republic of Texas - ca. 1836). 4. Gen. Autobahn Lee's transformation is almost entirely based on that of the Headmaster Siren (Goshuta). 5. He is in a score-long personal feud with Razorbeast. It has never resulted in war, but he finds it hard to trust the [G1] Maximal.
